It is time to get ready for the 2008 baseball season!
Crestwood Youth Baseball is a non-profit, volunteer organization. Our program is designed to provide all Crestwood area youth with a quality summertime sport in which they can learn the game of baseball; develop their skills; have fun while playing in a competitive environment; and make new friendships. Our program is strictly designed and operated as A GAME FOR YOUTH!
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
As parents of participants in this volunteer organization you are expected and needed to do your part in making this program successful. Parents are responsible for:
Getting your child to and from practices and games; the upkeep and care of your child’s uniform; supervising practices and games; supporting your child’s team and players; scoring and announcing at home games, retrieving foul balls and returning them to the game at visitor games and participating in fundraising activities.
Parents are also needed as team managers, team coaches, team mothers/fathers, sponsors, umpires, committee members and other areas. If you would like to be involved in any area of our program, contact any CYB Board Member.
LEAGUE AGES & DIVISIONS
League is for boys and girls, age 5-18. Registrants are assigned to a division based on their age on JUNE 1ST, 2008. Whatever age a child is on June 1st is their League Division.
Pee Wee - ages 5 & 6
Coach Pitch - ages 7 & 8
H League - ages 9 & 10
G League - ages 11 & 12
F League - ages 13 & 14
EE League - ages 15 & 16
E League - ages 17 & 18
REGISTRATION
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS MUST BE RECEIVED AT THE CYB SIGN UPS (FEBRUARY 16TH & 17TH, 23RD & 24TH)

~COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE (If not already on file).
~REGISTRATION FEES
NO CHILD WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY BALL WITHOUT A COPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE ON FILE!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
REGISTRATION FEES & FUNDRAISING
ONCE AGAIN THIS YEAR we will have the following items for sale at sign ups:
~Reverse Raffle Tickets (date to be determined)
~Pick 3 Tickets (each player is required to sell 3 tickets)
~CYB sweatshirts
~CYB car decals
~Parent Team T-Shirts
REFUND POLICY: Refunds will be given as follows: 100% refund given if prior to April 1st, 80% refunded if prior to May 1st, 50% refunded if before teams first game, no refunds given once the team has played a game.
FIELD RULES
Pets not on a leash, illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, and profanity are strictly prohibited at all CYB activities. Anyone violating any of these policies will be required to leave the game.
UNIFORMS
Uniforms will be issued by the coach near the end of April. The following is supplied to each player by the league:
~1 hat
~1 team shirt
~1 pair of pants
Make sure you get your child sized up at sign ups. We have shirts and pants of each size available to try on at sign ups.
TEAMS
Teams are formed in the following way: ***
- If a returning player wishes to remain on the same team as last year they will be placed with that team.
- If a returning player does not want to be on the same team as last year they will be placed in the draft
- If a player is new to CYB they will also be placed in the draft
***AT NO TIME SHALL A COACH OR ASSISTANT COACH SOLICIT A RETURNING PLAYER TO BE ON HIS TEAM
